How many hours per week does a full time college teacher work?
I know a lot of people are going to say "it varies" because some teachers work part time, some work at more than one school, some have non-education jobs and do teaching as a side job, etc. But let's say a FULL TIME teacher at ONE community college teaching 3-6 classes. And doing no research. What does a typical week consist of besides "prep time, lecture, and office hours"? How many hours?

I know nursing instructors who never seem to take breaks during the semester, and they teach 3-6 classes. But nursing is a bit different because a third of the teaching is at hospitals off campus. If they were just teaching on campus, it would be maybe 12-16 hours per course per week.

Full time is 4 or 5 classes, overload is 6 classes. They need around ten office hours. They spend usally 8 to 5 deays a week at school then three or four hours grading test and homework every week or two.
