Do police officers like their jobs? And can more education help me get promoted?

I want to get a bachelors in Criminal Justice, Business, and Physiology. I was wondering if police officers are happy ( In some movies and tv shows it makes them seem really mad about being cops) and does being extra fit have its advantages? Oh and I want to get promoted to maybe secret service and handle white collar crime.
