what is the best type of outdoor vacuum to use to remove acorns from yard?

Oak tree this year is dropping more acorns than I have ever seen. Used a rake but that is a hard job and I am hoping there is some type of vacuum cleaner that would have a hose large enough for them to pass through. Everyone on here is so knowledgeable that I hope you can help me.

I had the same problem. I can only tell you what didn't work. I got a Black and Decker leaf vac. Not good for acorns. Try your local rental store. They might have a yard vac you can rent. They are too expensive to buy just to use once a year. They look like a lawn mower.

You could bring in a family of squirrels to take care of your problem. I could ship you a few dozen. I have squirrels everywhere.
