1st company salary = 5/100 * sales 2nd company salary = 450 + 4/100* sales per week for 1 week 1st company salary should be equal to 2nd company salary.. so, 5/100 * sales = 450 + 4/100 *sales sales/20 = 450 + sales/25 sales(1/20-1/25) = 450 sales(1/100)=450 sales = 45000 $

let x=sales .05x=450+.04x .01x=450 x=450/.01 x=45000 at 45000 dollars in sales a week, you would make 2250 at either sales job.
