Will Accounting and Book keeping jobs also be outsourced to India in the near future?

Nowadays most of the companies have computerized their accounting activities. So, is there a chance that the accounting jobs and book keeping jobs be outsourced to India since labour being very cheap and a huge number of people are graduated every year in india. Unlike call centre jobs, you dont need to "speak" in english for an accountant job :)

Accounting jobs will always be in demand, especially in the upcoming years as reported by the department of labor recently. I believe many have been already. That said, the attraction is less immediate than with IT support and call centre activities. These 'fit' so well because the time zone difference lends itself to 24/7 service. I'm not sure that book keeping is yet a 24 hour activity.
