How long to wait after applying for student worker job?

I applied for a student worker job in a lab (undergrad). I emailed the contact number and told them I was interested, but I haven't gotten a reply yet. How long should I wait before applying for a different one? Keep in mind, this is a student worker job.

It kind of depends on when the job listing ends (if there is in fact and end date), but I would say wait 2 to 3 more days. The student having less work experience or no experience, they should wait for 2 to 3 month, its my personal experience.

Move on now. Its a huge recession and jobs are scarce. Apply often and play the numbers game.

You should apply for another job anyways. Fatal flaw is to only pursue one job option at a single time. Go for them all. You need to spread your net out if you want to get hired. Don't get fixated on just one job. May not ever get it... More
