Is loosing 35,000 manufacturing jobs while we have the biggest deficit in history good economic policy?

We lost 35,000 manufacturing jobs, while the deficit for the month of august was the largest in history. Is this good economic policy for America?

Of course not. But trying to convince the American consumer that it is in their best interests to purchase products made in America is d**n near impossible.
