Can i still get a police officer job if I have smoked marijuana?
I have recently stopped smoking marijuana since I have just started taking classes for a criminal justice degree. It will be about 2 years before I am finished with my degree. After this time will I be able to still get hired as a police officer? Thanks.

I am a police officer and speak only from what I know about it. It all depends on which agency you apply to. You can still be hired. DO NOT LIE about your use. Be completely honest and don't try to fool the lie-detector. They expect most people to have used marijuana to an extent. Just make sure you quit and stay that way. If you get caught smoking will employed, you're done.
