Probably Carter would have done a better job. Carter did help create a recession equal in magnitude as this one though. Obama and the Liberals made this recession worse by keep chanting this is the worse recession since the depression . that reduced consumer confidence and help prolong the recession. Bill Clinton... Cons here have been complaining about the Debt/GDP ratio here lately, as a factoid they can pretend Obama is doing worse at than Bush. Guess which modern President had the LOWEST Debt/GDP ratio? That means he had the HIGHEST RATE of productivity with the LOWEST RATE OF BORROWING!!
