What is the best engineering job in Navy?

I am going to be enlisted in Navy and see the Navy job classifier soon. I passed all the physical and medical exams(depth perception, color vision, hearing, etc) at MEPS but I need to wear glasses to have 20/20 vision or 20/400. I am a green card holder and had a BS degree in aerospace engineering(accredited). I am qualified w/ my Asvab for most of the technical jobs but I don't have a citizenship. What I am going to do is to apply for citizenship and apply for OSC after getting my citizenship status. I am not very confident that they will accept, but I want to give it a try. I have about 35K federal student loans, which I want the Navy to help me pay off. What kind of things are the most important to get in writing on the contract? The student loan repayment is up to 65K. Do I have to ask them to write on it since it is said on the Navy web? The G.I. Bill is also said on the web. Do I have to get them in writing? Also, can I ask them to assist me to apply for citizenship? I know there are not a lot of jobs opening right now in Navy as my recruiter told me. But I have some jobs in mind and wonder if you can rank which one is the best for me as a math-science-physics-engineering person. The following jobs are really what I want, but I am not sure how the life is like in those jobs. Does anyone also know how long the enlistment is for some of the following rates?? Which rate will shine me better once I am transferred back to civilian world? Job Wish List: Aviation Machinist's Mate (AD) Aviation Structural Mechanic (AM, AME) Engineering Aid (EA) Engineman (EN) Gas Turbine System Technician (Mechanical) GSM MM Submarine(SS) Machinist’s Mate (MM) Nuclear Power Program(MM) http://www.navycs.com/asvab-test.html Any suggestion or comment that I appreciate ~ Thanks a lot :)

If you're not a citizen, you will not be able to go the Nuke route, which means you can get rid of the MM Submarines and Nuclear Power Program right off the top... More
