What is a good enterprise job scheduling solution? (Event-driven process automation)?

Our business is in need of a job scheduler / job scheduling software solution to automate our IT business processes.

Have a look at Redwood Job Scheduling. Cronacle Job Scheduler by Redwood is a very good event-based job scheduling tool. For more general information about job scheduling tools see this wikipedia page.

Computer Associates has a producted called esp which might do what you need it to do.

One possible idea could be to ask independent trainers what they recommend. A suggestion is the University of San Francisco and their BPM trainers. They're the experts so they may be able to offer unbiased advice (not saying that anyone here would give bad advice!) Good luck!
