What is the real issue of gay marriage?

I have to conduct a very short essay regarding this issue. I'm currently researching about it, but I'm getting a lot of inconsistencies, and I really cannot write excessively for my prof. strictly limited the number of words we can have in our essay. 1. What is the real issue? 2. How is it a federalism problem? How is the state government dealing with it? How is the federal government dealing with it? 3. What are the 2 sides of the issue? If anyone could just please offer me some helpful details or information that will assist me in answering the questions above, I would appreciate it.

Who gets custody of the adopted children? Divorce laws are not currently up to date on handling these concerns that will happen. How does the... More
