Why do we have so many Americans who do not know anything about economics in America?

Specificaly the left In Communist Russia only the ruling class controlled 99% of the wealth and how did that work out for the rest of the country? Liberals do not understand the difference between wealth and income. Galacto: U assume I listen to them which I do not. Which 'conservative' polices would u be refering to please.

You may be right but we know enough. For example how the hell did business people who are considered very smart. Not know what was going to happen when the price of Oil went up $165. Or do u really want us to fall for "it is a little more complicated than that" BS.

the lack of education and the brainwashing of the children who were forced to watch an inconvenient LIE because of what the tax money goes to. the liberals want to control the youth through an early age and the way to do that is lying when theyre young.

I think the right has just as many problems with economics. They tend to overlook the overwhelming legal privileges and subsidies afforded to corporations that artificially rig the playing field and make a free competitive market impossible.

Because our teachers have been indoctrinated to socialism. A true understanding of economics is incompatible with the precepts of socialism, so it is either taught superficially or not at all.

It's not that they don't know, more like they don't care. Take the issue of alternative energy and hybrid cars. The numbers clearly show that hybrids are not economically feasible.
