Take a teenager on a cruise?

i'm planning a vacation for myself and my 16yr old son this winter...slight problem: have no money saved for said vacation. do you think a teen would have fun on a cruise? if so, what cruise lines and/or destinations are best for those on a budget? if you think a cruise wouldn't be a good idea, then what air travel destination(s) would you suggest that aren't astronomically expensive? - aside from Orlando, that is - as that's the only major vacation i've ever taken him on. btw, i live near a major international airport. thanks. :)

Isn't this question kinda mute? If you don't have any money to pay for cruise why are you asking such a question?
