Is a certificate good enough to find employment as an administrative assistant?
I am interested in working as an administrative assistant/office assistant and I was wondering if a certificate would be good enough to obtain an entry level job? Also, if you do this job, how much do you make? thank you

You can get a job with a certificate, but more and more employers are looking for an actual degree, such as an associates or bachelors. If you can, I highly suggest skipping the certificate and going for a degree program. It really will be to your advantage. Also, learn a second language if you don't know one already... More

Having a certificate is a good thing, but most companies prefer a more experienced administrative assistant. However it does not mean you can find work in the field but you may have to start an entry level as the first poster stated in some administrative or office support... More
