my parents are crazy and mad at me!?

i went shopping with friends last night and my mom FLIPPED out when i came back saying i was past my curfew (it was only like 2 min!) and said she checked ipass and saw i got a 56 on my math test and my room is messy and blah blah blah..i just ignored her and wanted to go upstairs and take a shower but she suddenly grabs me and smacks my butt and says i should not disobey or direspect her and then she hits me with a frickin ruler! then im grounded for a month! oh my gosh im so p****d off ! the only reason i failed the test was because it was hard everyone else in my class did too! and ijust didnt have enough time to clean my room! she needs to control herself. how can i make her change her mind about grounding me? she hit me several times tho! and my grounding means no going out and no tv!

If she hit you with a ruler, report her for child abuse!

Start by cleaning your room! You had time to clean your room, you just used it to go shopping. When she calms down you can explain about the test. Politely, not defensively. WITH plans for how you will bring your grades up!

As for your grounding, you did... More

shes mad at you, so you can't change her mind. Things will cool down and blow over in a day or so.

um...clean your room and study your math instead of running around at the mall and all will be well. youre the one that needs to get over it. you need grounded.
