How can I be a fantastic shift manager at pizza hut?

I am going to be a shift manager. My boss thinks I am a good employee and I heard her say she should hire more employees like me. Anyway, when I start as a shift manager I want to continue to show myself to be good, and be the best shift manager she has, so I can potentially become a general manager. Any tips for being a great shift manager so that my boss will be impressed and i could even eventually become a regional general manager

Encourage employees, but don't be their best friend. Excel at your job, be a problem solver, don't get stressed out, and take initiative.
