I want to resign my job in Saudi Arabia before my contract period expired ?

I am working in a private company in Saudi Arabia as an engineer. And my native India. I am working here with three year contract.i have finished my 18 month with in that contract. I don't like to work here anymore because i would like to stay with my parents. Is it possible to resign my job before the contract period expired? Is there any other problem to resign from this job? Thanks in advance for ur valuable answers.

You can resign but acceptance of it still is with your employer. Other thing is that you might not get a NOC resulting in having difficulty in getting a new job in KSA in near future. However, this wont bar you from going to any other gulf state as mentioned by another answerer.

u can resign but if ur company didn't accept resign then just don't go to ur job so they will fire u and deport u back to india.

I think this depends on you must liters penalty clause in the contract or do such Maeval a lot of labor from India or Pakistan or Bangladesh, absenteeism from work and then migration out of Saudi Arabia will not get into details, but must be taught that if you went that way will not be able to enter the States The... This should be covered in your contract. As long as you are not planning to work again in SA it should not be a problem.
