Why do Sky and now BBC news waste so much time speculating the news and just not wait and report the facts?

Am I the only one this annoys? Also E. Holmes showing his ignorance making statements, does he ask his own questions or are they fed to him? He really fancies himself with his 'angels' in the morning can he not get 'jet Set' back?
