I need advice, concerning legal matters and Child Services.?

	I need advice, concerning legal matters and Child Services.? I'm stuck in a house I don't want to be in, and my parents are going through a bad divorce because my father has been an alcoholic for all my life, 12+ years. My father is prone to violence and has jokingly threatened to hurt/kill my mother, my sister, and me. I had to call child services to put me into foster care until my mother was released from jail because I was too frightened to return to my dad's house... Currently, there's a protective order against my dad, he's in too bad a state health wise to go to work anymore, so he can't pay for a lawyer, so my parents divorce is being postponed, so i can't really change any of that.. but the parts I need help with are centered around Child Protective Services. I have to meet with a council worker from George Junior Republic on a weekly basis. Basically, she makes me look at college and financial bullcrap that I DON'T CARE about. She signed me up to take the SAT and ACT, when I don't care about any of it and don't even want to complete High School at this point. How do I get them out of my life? Once a month I have to meet with a different social worker, my case manager from CPS. A while ago, my aunt and grandmother on my father's side (they're staying in my old house, taking care of my father) went through my room where the majority of my belongings are. They found old journals of mine, where i wrote about wanting to k*********f and cutting. They photo-copied my journal papers, and took them to my social worker. My questions about this are, Is there any law for invasion of privacy that I can hold against my aunt and grandmother? They do not legally own the house, nor do they legally live there. And are there any laws keeping me from going back into my old house and taking my stuff back? Thank you for reading it all, please answer if you think you can help. First off, I'm too young to go to jail, and I don't see how I'd end up there by continueing a negative cycle. I'm simply asking if there's any legal way i could my stuff back. You don't know the details, you don't know what's Best for me; I'm asking for knowledge about laws involving invasion of privacy, NOT what you think I should do involving going to college and the advice of my social workers, kay? I'll decide what to do involving college. Also, don't tell me whether or not I NEED those things at my old house. Apparently you've never been suddenly seperated from every object you've ever had, left with nothing, and thrown into foster care. It's only natural for me to want my stuff back. I find it hard to believe that there is no law I can press against them for invading and photocopying my personal belongings, THAT is what i'm asking for. Thank you. There is no action you can take against your relatives. You do not have a right to any of those things either. you are going to end up in jail and in big trouble if you don't stop the negative cycle you are in. You don't say why your mother is in jail right now. You need to listen to the case worker and try for college. That is the way out of poverty and to be able to make more money and support yoruself and perhaps others, too. You are depressed right now and may need medical attention to get an antidepressant. Y ou have been through a trauma and are still in it. Dopn't worry about your dad and his lawyer. You need to worry about doing your best in school and in taking the ACT or SAT. There are funds so you could go to college without paying. You would be foolish to not do that. You may be cutting yourself because you see no way out of the dilemma you have. You re not responsible for your father's behavior or the family to which you belong. But you have an opportunity now to learn and grow and to try to get well. Emotional trauma affects us. it affects you and can be responsible for your feelings of low self esteem and low self worth. You may be trying to punish your family by your cutting as they have not done their job in taking care of you. But it is yourself who is being hurt. You need to get out of that. So listen to these people who are thinking of you and helping you right now. Plan on finishing high school and also in tryhing to go to college, even if you have to work for the money to go. You will improve your situation and you may be able to help your mom or sister at some time or you may have to just take care of yourself. Look at this as your opportunity to change your life. 	How do I get a job with Dodgy work history and no experience? Basically- no degree, although I have tried completing one in the past and stopped because of physical and mental health issues which were overwhelming to deal with along with going to classes full time. I'm not stupid and I am quite articulate. I am 23 and have only worked for about two years retail in high school and stopped working to go to university. I worked a few months in 2010 retail after I dropped out but it was only a seasonal position, and the only reason why I have not been able to constantly work is because of mental health issues. I had also tried going back to community college during my free time since i left university in 2008/9 and I had panic attacks while in community college, which made my anxiety worse from then on. Well recently I met a good doctor and he prescribed me some meds that are stabilizing my moods and I feel the best I've felt in years, and I'm ready to work. Thing is, I don't know how to get a job now since I've spent literally years being depressed and anxious doing nothing. I don't really have anything to put on my resume, and I never finished my AA degree either. All I've done is cashiering and although I do the job well and I get promoted easily when I do these jobs because I'm a hard worker and I try to go above and beyond what they ask of me,which is the attitude I have no matter what kind of work I'm doing as long as I'm getting paid. But I hate cashiering because it's too easy and I want a job that is more interesting. Any suggestions for me on how to get a job that is NOT Retail with the type of background I have right now? 	Why honesty, hard work and dedication have no place at work? Recently I have overlooked for a project at work and I am unable to accept it why?
