Are military careers a good thing to do?

I am a high school senior and taking dual community college classes and high school classes. I will be taking calculus and physics for my college. In college I will be a physics major or a premed. I was wondering what type of careers the military offered. My grandfather was a marine and was an office I think he was a major and retired with a very good salary. What type of careers do the army, navy marines, airforce offer. I would like to know what kind of science or cybersecurity jobs they offer thanks. I know that if you get your masters or bachalers you get in as an officer. @Reality has a liberal bias, what does this have to do with a military career go back to the politics section and go troll there.
