What is the relationship a new second lieutenant and his platoon sergeant supposed to have ideally?

Also what do most enlisted think of their new second lieutenant in the first few weeks, what should he do to make a good first impression, and what should he do to be a good second lieutenant. Thanks in advance for your help?
