Are our history books really just fiction?

So many claim that so much of what we learn in "History" classes in school is propaganda, and lies. What do you think?

You believe everything you hear? History books may sometimes be opinionated during wars, but they're accurate enough. How come all reputable websites agree? If I want to research something that's in the book, i'll just find it's more detailed.

Do yourself a favor and read "Lies My Teacher Told Me" by James Loewen. It will answer your question quite thoroughly.
