I recently left my job at Sykes Enterprises, what happens to the 401k I signed up for?

Your 401k plan is still there and safe. Depending on how much money was in the plan you may receive a forced distribution (if the amount was less that 5k) If it is more than that then you will have the option to leave it where it is, roll it over to a qualified plan, or take a cash distribution.

find out who the company is that your 401k is through. then call them and request a cash out its your money they cant keep it. they might need proof you left your job. like your human resources dept. may have to fax something. or you can roll it over to another 401k plan or even an ira plan. like i said call the...
