How long are Christmas help seasonal jobs usually?

Target is hiring (still) for seasonal help cashier jobs. Isn't it a bit late? Don't those usually only go november - Jan? How late into Jan do they go? Becuase I get all of december off from college, so that would be prerfect. But come the second week of Jan I start school again... So? Thanks!!

They usually last until just after New Years. They need people for the Christmas rush, the returns rush, and the New Years Eve rush. Then they are done. Take the job, and if they don't lay you off soon enough, just quit. It's a seasonal job, it's not an appointment to the Cabinet! Good luck!

The stores are still hiring only because they didn't reach the target number of people and are afraid they would be under-staffed. The jobs are usually only until the first week of January.
