What does a job title mean if it says intern but requires a degree?

The job title says industrial engineer intern, but it requires a bachelors degree in industrial engineering. I was under the impression that internships were for short periods such as during the summer, not a full time job. Could this simply mean an entry level job, or is it a typical internship?

Some internships are post-graduate, possibly intended as a bridge between undergrad and grad school or as work experience for someone who has a degree but hasn't passed certifying exams.
