can you get a job as a guidance counselor or counselor with an associates degree in pshycology and sociology?

I'm thinking about going to my local community school. If i go there i would go for two years and major in psychology and sociology. With that degree would i be able to get a job as a guidance counselor, family counselor or a social worker?

You will not be able to get a job as a guidance counselor well it depends on your state but in general school counselors are required to have Masters degrees in School Counseling, Counseling or Educational Counseling, ocassionally some teaching experience and be licensed counselors. You aren't going to get anything above minimum wage with that. Expect to get a masters degree for any kind of work that pays enough to survive.
