Does it matter where you go to college?

I currently attend Portland State University in Portland, OR and really want to transfer to Brown University in Rhode Island. I am afraid that I won't get a decent job because of the university I currently attend. I also am not too happy here, and think I might be in a better school. What is the verdict, does anyone know? Do companies REALLY look at where you went to school, or is it just that you have a degree?

The top companies look at where you went to school, but others don't. Depends on what you're studying too.

An authoritative university and an excellent professional, indeed may obtain some company's favor. However, I think the most important still is to insist on his own dream. After all, your choice would affect your life.
