Can people actually get in trouble for using Geek Squad's MRI CD?

I am currently an agent at Best Buy Geek Squad [one of the good ones] so I can make some cash to get on my feet. I know many people hate GS [and i'm not thrilled with it either], but nonetheless it's the best financial option for me at the moment. OK, I'm done with this little disclaimer lol... ANYWAY, my question goes as such. I was discussing with a coworker a problem that I was having with my own computer, when he suggested that I take home and use one of Geek Squad's "Top Secret" MRI disks. Having used this software on the job many times before, I have seen the warnings stating the illegality of using such software while off the job. His explanation was that "all employees have a copy at home that they use for their own computers." So here I am with an ethical dilemma. It's wrong to take home and use the software, I know, but being human I can't help but speculate the possible consequences if I were to buckle and do so. I've heard that the software, when run, "calls home" to some GS central network or something. So I guess my main question is, has anybody here ever heard of an instance of someone getting into legal trouble for using this MRI software unauthorized?

And for them to figure out ip's and everything.. There's nothing that special on that disc bud. Don't worry bout it and depending on the... More

Only geek squad agents are allowed to have a copy of the MRI at home, for use only on their personal computers. (not your family or your friends).
