How long does it take to become a professor?
How long does it take to become a full Accountant professor? Or an Associate Accountant professor? I need to know both so I can see which one is better for me. Any suggestions would also be nice. Thanks

You need a PhD in accounting to be hired at a 4-year college or university. You'd start out as an assistant professor, hopefully be promoted to associate within a few years, and if you get tenure (not everyone does) you'd become a full professor in 5-10 years.
