What does Maintenance workers employed by McDonalds do?

How old do you have to be. I went to orientation Wednesday and they give me a blue shirt with no tie or anything and he told me the manager said i would be doing maintenance. but i talk to some friends who work there and they said maintenance workers are certified and do stuff like light bulbs and fix things and make more then the swing managers soi think she made a mistake.

They do not make more than managers. They do minor fixing and have to clean up lobby spills. they are also responsible for taking out the trash, pressure washing the parking lot, changing the outside menus and McDonald's signs, and help upload the food trucks. Every store is different but those are the basic duties.

Well. your friend is right up to a point, you`ll learn how to take equipment apart and clean and fix them, mop, sweep, clean up the parking lot. check light bulbs, maybe do some painting, replace broken title, check that restroom are clean and fill paper towel, toilet paper, clean windows. just about everything that...
