Once we cast aside the time-tested male-female, one-flesh-union view of marriage in favor of marriage as individuals choose to define it, we have a grab bag of possibilities. Why not consider the following ‘marital arrangements’ as having equal protections under the law... More

How can you care so much about the private lives of consenting adults?

Offspring of siblings are far more likely to have birth defects arising from recessive genes expressing themselves.

Because it's gross. But I get your point. Good point. Because a lot of people think homosexuality is gross too.

The bible is against gay marriage but supports incestuous marriage. Adam n Eve. (Their children if you don't count them as brother and sister, though technically it was more like Adam marrying himself since she was created from his rib)

Because incest causes recessive genetic abnormalities and diseases to be expressed. Clearly, this is what happened in your case... More

That's right. Most atheists here probably support that too but they won't admit it.

Gay couples aren't the same as couples related by blood, it's not the same thing at all.

Right Life-long one man-one woman loving marriage has to be protected Let gays, etc create their own institutions and leave marriage alone

Good point. If there is nothing wrong with homosexuality, there is nothing wrong with incest.

Sexuality isn't a choice, whether or not you sleep with a relative is. If a child results from incest it is more likely to have birth defects.

What kind of children do incestuous couples produce? Children with genetic problems. What kind of children go gay couples produce? None.

I don't honestly care what consenting adults do in their private lives. However, if they're going to have children, they should know the risks.

I can't recall a time in which I stated I was against incestuous marriage. It's not something I would practice myself, but I can't tell other people how to live.

Like the Swiss government, I am in favour of incestuous marriage, between consenting adults - as long as there is no chance of a birth arising from the union..... And - don't forget - there are different views of what constitutes 'incest' depending on your country and culture.

I have to answer this question, as I find your presumption insulting. People like you are dangerous. If you have to ask this question, it means you KNOW there is a difference.
