why some people seem to thrive off making others or specific others feel unsure or upset?

and which specific others specific types specifically pick out for this and why? please explain and give any examples..how it makes them feel during and after and why again? which ages are most guilty of this too and why? how common? thanks for your answers!

Because the individual concerned has heavy demands they feel incapable of meeting, they need somebody around them to be seen to fail in some way or another... More

Insecurity and just plain malice. But some people ask or do stupid/annoying things which results in such behaviour from those around.
