How long does this stay on my record?

I was 19 years old when i was charged with minor consumption (underage drinking) and fleeing a peace officer by means other than a motor vehicle (i ran). Since then i've bee denied to a couple jobs due to my criminal background and im curious as to if this ever leaves my record. Additional Info: This happened 4 months ago. I also have one more minor consumption on my record with no other charges attached.

FOREVER, DUDE!!!! Underage drinking, you're still an adult!!! Adult records are kept forever. And you deserve it.

And in interview just tell them... More

Give it time. The only reason people aren't hiring you is cause what you did was recent. Everything will be forgiving just give it some time ANd stay out of trouble

It doesn't go away unless you take the steps to have it either expunged or set aside, depending on the procedure in the state you were convicted in.... having said that, no judge would consider doing that until you're around 24 or 25 years old and have a clean record between now and then... More
