I'm a Verizon customer. Tell me why I should (or shouldn't) get an Iphone when I can?

don't have a smartphone right now (little bare-bones Samsung phone on Sprint, but hey, the job gives it to me, so the price is right). Thinking of actually putting my own hand in my own pocket (NOOOOO!!!!) to get the magic Iphone when it comes to VZN. I do see some people lauding Droid--should I just opt for that? Is Iphone more hype than miracle? and what will I pay for this connectedness, soup to nuts, including voice plan, moderate data plan, tax title & license? thank you oh techie ones....

Nathan's post says it best. Two more things for your list. Iphones don't support Java, either. Without Adobe Flash and java, browsing the net on an iphone is like watching non-HD channels on an LCD TV. Also, you can't download videos from YouTube onto an iphone. Minor details, but add them to your list.
