How much should I charge per photo retouch?
I recently graduated with my associates degree in graphic design. This jewelry company just asked me if I would be interested in retouching their photos. They told me I could get anywhere from 200-600 images per month. They told me I would get payed per completed image, and to please give them a quote. How much would be acceptable to charge them? This would be my first job in the graphic design field, so I would really love some input.

get some samples and ideas about the RETOUCHES and see how long it takes you, work out an hourly rate, then add 20% on top... and see about revisiting the cost in say 6 months...

1st answer is good. U need to see what they are going to give U to work with before U can give them an accurate quote. I used to do hand retouching before the digital age, so things are different now, and U do not want to work for free.
