I have a History Masters but I do not know what to do with it?

I am looking to utilize it in a full time job. It is hard to get a teaching position without a PHd and even though I am an adjunct Faculty it does not pay the bills. What options are out there? Is stopping at a MA level a bad idea. I have two young kids, I don't think I will be able to go back to school any time soon.
