What's it like to be in the Air Force security forces? What are my chances of getting this specialty?

I'm approaching my last semester of college to get my A/S degree in criminal justice and I'm employed as a police cadet. I've been thinking about joining the Air Force as a member of the security forces to gain experience and earn more income. Can anyone who's served in the Air Force security forces tell me what they like/dislike about the job so far? Would I have a good chance of getting this specialty & is there any way I can be guaranteed the specialty prior to basic training?

The shit sucks, they get yelled at all the time, limited time in the Dining Facility. SecFor is a shitty career field to get into. Only plus side as far as... More
