How do I know if Biomedical Engineering would be a good major for me?
Yes, I know I should like biology/science and math. I do like biology a LOT, math is ok. I'm just looking for a field that has to do with biology that I'd actually make money at. I've read everything I can on the web about Biomedical Engineering but I just don't know if I would be smart enough for it.

I'm majoring in Biomedical Engineering. It definitely is a lot of bio and math, and it is definitely hard. But there are few college degree programs that aren't hard (especially if you actually want a career from your degree). All engineering is extremely math intensive, so if you're not inclined to at least tolerate math you're definitely not going to want to go that direction. As far as biology, that's secondary... More

Don't ever pick a career because of money. Because if you don't like what you do, you will never succeed anyway. Pick a career that you would do if they paid you nothing, that gives you a reason to wake up in the morning. Then and only them will you succeed.
