Which sporty car should I pick for a daily driver and why?

I'm getting my first job soon in the engineering field and I'm looking to get a car. My main wants are a nicer interior, good sound system, manual transmission, and something that handles well. I would like to keep it under $30k. I live in PA so it needs to be able to handle all kinds of weather conditions. I like the idea of a new car because no one has used it before and I wouldn't have to worry about anything going wrong, but I also understand that used would be cheaper and I could get more car for the money. I don't care as much about absolute horsepower because I have a weekend car for that, but something that has some oomph would be nice. I've been looking at the following: Volkswagen GTI Honda Civic SI Subaru WRX Mazda Mazdaspeed3 Mitsubishi Ralliart ??? So, would you go new or used? Which of the above would you pick based on what I like? Is there any car I missed that I should add to the list? Anyone with any positive or negative reviews of any of the cars? Thanks!

Subaru WRX, it has many awards and AWD. FWD and power do not combine well, there is a lot of understeer.

List looks good. I would remove the VW and the Mitz because they are garbage.

honestly all of the engineers i know drive trucks because they have to go to the sites of their projects. but if you want something sports i would go with a honda civic coupe, a mazda rx-8, or even a mustang.
