Hello Ahmed,
You do not understand the forces: enlisted and officer of the US military.
Officers do NOT do the same jobs as an enlisted person.
Officers LEAD them to do that job.
Officers are RESPONSIBLE for the enlisted to do the job well and correctly.
IF you are an AF Officer you "might" be able to do this Officer JOB which includes being responsible for fire protection.
Officer Field: 32EX - CIVIL ENGINEER
http://usmilitary.about.com/library/milinfo/afoffjobs/bl32ex.htm "Activities include programming, budgeting, project management, drafting, surveying, planning, feasibility studies, construction management, utilities operations, energy and environmental programs, land management, real property accounting, fire protection, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), disaster preparedness (DP) programs, family housing and dorm management, and mobilization programs at base level."
"Undergraduate academic specialization is mandatory in architecture or civil, electrical, general, environmental, construction, architectural, or mechanical engineering in a school that has at least one program accredited by a nationally recognized body in engineering; or in architecture in a school that is accredited by a nationally recognized body in architecture; or graduation from a service academy with a major in an engineering discipline."
BUT.. are you a college graduate?
You can not be an Air Force officer or any officer in the military UNLESS you are a college graduate.
Best wishes,
Larry Smith
