What do you think is the best wesite creation software?

Not online web builders or basic drag an drop software. What do you think is the best HTML website creation software? I have had Dreamweaver for about 2 years and not really used it. I like it but everyone seems to be giving it bad reviews. Regardless of price?

Best is subjective. Plus, how good the software is matters not. Basic Notepad would be able to a darn good job of coding pages only because the person using it knows what to do. If you can't code from memory, then you do not have all the skills needed to make a web site... More

A text editor is the best web-site creation software. The best web sites are written by hand in HTML, not with bloated web creation software. The pros write it by hand with a text editor, nothing more. It's not hard to do, and it gives better, faster, more reliable results than web-creation gadgets.
