Where can I get certified in Food Safety?

So I am thinking about getting certified in food safety so that I can apply for better jobs. I have a lot of training in the food services industry and will probably be working in food services for the duration of my college career. I want to get certified to give my application that extra edge. I've heard online certification is the way to go but I can't figure out which sites are reputable and which are scams. Does anyone have experience with online certification? Thanks.

In CA... More
