I'm having bunny trouble, please help me?!?

Okay, so last week we got rid of my bunny, only I still wanted him. My older brother put him online! I was very mad when I woke up to see my bunny no longer there. But, after two full minutes of being mad, I cried for almost two hours. They got rid of him because I refuse to clean out the cage, but I only refuse because I was saving the litter for the new cage I was about to buy this last weekend! But now I really want another bunny! But every time the subject comes up, my brother says no! Then when I ask my parents alone, they say that he will just die of not getting the cage cleaned out, but he won't! I know he won't. Everyday I come home from school shouting "Hello Icee babe! You won't believe how much I've missed you!" only to find out he's not there. So I've been dropping hints to get another one, but they don't get it. Or they do that on purpose. But anyways, I would love to start new, and freshly with a new bunny. I will pay for everything! I really want another bunny so badly that sometimes I actually cry in my room for a little bit because my bunny baby is no longer there! So can you tell me how I can get my parents to say yes, what I can do to get one, how I can make the money, and how long it will take to convince them? Thank you so much! ~Megan~

well megan, I also have a problem like yours. I really want a guinea pig but my parents say how can you have a guinea pig when you don't clean your fish tank. I just talked to my mom this evening and she says she might consider it if I do more sports, clean my room (and fish tank), maintain good grades in school and... More

To be honest, i'm not sure how that will work out since they got rid of your other one in the first place. The only thing i can think of is get all the information on one you like sit down and talk to them about it and act maturely so they don't say no. I don't know it worked for me and now i'm getting a hedgehog (:

It doesn't matter if you were getting a new cage or not. The new cage would need to be cleaned, too. If you wanted to save something so the bunny would recognize its own scent when it moves into the cage, that's ok, you could have saved a small scoop of dirty litter from the pan and mixed it with the clean litter...
