Ramadan : Will every muslim please read this? please wallah i need every muslim with a heart to hear me out?

I'm going to let go of all of my dignity for this. Only because I'm at rock bottom and I need help from Muslims. Please take me seriously ok? i know it's long but wallah i beg you to read all of it. please

I am one of 5 kids, of two parents that divorced 1 year ago after 23 years of marriage.

I have visited jordan once, 4 months ago only to realize this is where i personally need to live to live my life.

All of my life i have worked no less than 65-70 hours per week. Parents needed help i did not have time for college. i have never had a chance to save any money.

parents divorce and hell breaks loose. death threats back and forth while little kids cry on a daily basis. spitting in each others faces literally. kids losing their islam. my little 11 year old sister would sit in my mothers car at night from like 8-12 while my mom is sleeping.. alone and depressed with our cat. i am working and have no way to fix it.

dad just took custody of her and 13 year old bro. why? he saw cuts on her arm asked what it was.. and found out. an 11 year old screaming for attention not getting it.

little bro wears headphones playing video games 12 hours a day sleeping the rest trying to drown out the reality of his life.

my family is a crazy bunch of depressed people and i have always been in the middle carrying them on my back trying to help them financially and mentally but thus far it's only went lower into a hole.

i have a beard and practice islam. police pull me over even while JUST WALKING asking for id, who i am, what am i doing etc etc. undercovers follow me for no reason if i drive to massachusetts a state away. if i walk into a convenient store and theres people talking, the room gets silent. im a freak show... no one sees me as human even though i am.

muslims here are not good.. not trustworthy, not caring.. i have no friends no family.. i live my life alone and wallahi i cry every freaking day or at least have in the past week!

i don't know what to do anymore. im 22 and need to go to jordan and get married. i have no comfort or friendship. what am i going to do, look for it hugging into a girl at 2 am in my car?

just lost my job (company lost it's license long story) and my car isn't goign to last long.

im on the verge of being ruined constantly. for too long ive been like this.

and the world doesn't hear me or see me. how can i live???

so 4 days ago i saw a contest on fb where the winner is by number of votes. the winner gets 100,000. i need less than half to bring my family to where our family is and get married. the country i visited.. let me tell an example. A boy who is my age, has 6 or 7 siblings. his parents too old to work. he is in school and raising a family on less than 250 a MONTH.

there are people like him and thousands of people in worse situations there.

my aim is after i open my business do to things, take a percentage of that income, + the leftover money, and open up a soup kitchen/shelter. where muslims can eat daily, and also live if they can't afford living. i swear to god this would make the lives of thousands of muslims liveable.

but why doesn't this happen now? muslims don't think it's a big deal. or muslims don't think they can make a difference. why? because they don't have high expectations of their creator. which puts us in the situaiton we're in now.

to all those that live in the uk or usa that have never seen the middle east.. know that what you have is hundreds of times what they have. the cars they drive are so cheap they dont even exist in the us. the homes are made of rock. they can't use water freely because it gets delivered to their houses monthly or weekly. i swear, you do not understand how rich you are compared to those people. and they are the most beautiful muslims you'd ever meet in your life.

i want to be there because although poor i can achieve two things. 1 is being in the simple life, farther from sin im in now so id be not in danger of what i am, be able to see what life is instead of being distracted by dunya and also be able to have a family not fearing for my kids iman.

second thing is i would be able to help thousands of muslims that truly need it.

i swear to allah if you read this and are muslim or even not muslim and have a heart.. all you have to do is vote for me once a day, show your friends this message, tell them to vote once a day, put it on facebook n youtube . spread the word. if every one of you does that truly i can win it.

please, don't take this as NOTHING becuase it's not and im at rock bottom in my head and don't know how to handle it any more. will you please help??? it's WINNABLE wallah

this is the youtube ad my bro made for me and then the link to vote if you care enough to.

I am deeply saddened by your story! I thought my life was hard, but after reading this, I feel like I have no reason to complain. I'm sorry you have to go through all that, but remember Allah tests those who he loves. Be patient, and InshaAllah Allah will help you out with all your problems. Just continue to pray, make dua, and remain steadfast, and you will be rewarded. I sincerely wish you all the best, and applaud you for your strength. If you need anyone to talk to you can leave me a message :)

PS. When I voted for you, I saw your picture. Mash'Allah you have a lot of noor :)

Sallam bro,

You shouldn't generalize muslims in the west, although you may have had bad experiences. trust me there are muslims who were born out in the west who didn't forget where they came from (elhamdollilah good parenting) everything in this life is a test. and the muslims, whose parents struggled for a better themselves, who are living in the west have their own test just as you do. this better lifestyle is a test.

muslims in the west have a better opportunity for a better education which means a better high earning job. and believe are muslims who achieved all of that but didn't forget and many of them (young and old) give much needed money back to their communties and go back and start organizations to help the poor. bro, there are good people out there who have good intentions. don't be jaded by a few and stop believing in the good of people.

as for you and your struggles, just remember there's plenty of people who are in worse circumstances than you and that while your life may not be ideal at the moment, it is still a blessing, and that Allah will not give you what you cannot handle. there will be great bliss and uncanny depression in this donya, but they're all test. it's tough to help the majority of people when you yourself are poor.

but please don't lose your faith in people, especially those who live next to you.

Salaam, It takes a lot of courage to pour out your heart in such a manner as you have. Bro have sabr and stay as focused and strong as you can, Insha'Allah your situation will get better. I will keep you in my Dua and also inform my friends and colleges of your plight.

Er, my post didn't post.

To summarize, life is a test. Allah tests who he loves and if he really loves you, he tests you even more! Your job? Have patience and to overcome it and get to Jannah where you will feel none of these sorrows.

I want you to try to think about how much worse things could be for you. You could be paralyzied, brain dead,, autistic, blind, deaf, lose a limb, inability to speak, having to live in severe poverty having to worry about how you will feed your family tomorrow.
Me, I have had my tests to. I grew up with parents who would fight all the time, I used to wish they would get divorced. I also grew up with a father who spent no time with his children, but would constantly yell at them for every little thing. We were scared of him. Now, I am used to everything. I don't care so much anymore. I just try to work with what I have, not what I wish I had. Then, recently I was told by doctors that I am believed to have muscular dystrophy. My life felt like it had ended. I wanted to curl up and die, and spent many hours loathing in self pitty. I kept thinking of how my life would change and how much I would miss out on in the future. Alhamdullilah Allah has helped me to overcome this with patience. My desires of having a happy normal life of my own have been replace with the urge to help others stuggling in life. I have recently taken up volunteering to help immigrants fleeing from their countries out of fear for their life to help them learn basic math. I am amazed at how strong some of these people are. I also am a mentor to a little girl in BBBS, with my job being to help her overcome her life issues and to be strong and try to be happy. Volunteering has done me a great deal of good too. I suggest you try volunteering in the meantime if you can't afford to do your great idea.

And please try not to think badly of Americans. I am American. Do I think how perfect the US is? NO! I am fully aware of what is going on in other countries, and I badly wish I could help them. The problem is I don't have much money right now. I have always had a wish and desire that when I got older and was financially able, that I would travel to those countries and hand out money to those in need. I still want to do that. So please, don't generalize about Americans, it is extremely offensive.

If you take steps towards Allah, he will come running to you. Make dua that Allah will make your life easier. But, if you want things to change you have to also do your part to achieve that. I assure you, loathing in self pitty will do you absolutely no good. You need to look at the postive aspects of life, think of the future, and don't dwell on the past or things that you don't have or wish you had.

I wish you the best and very much hope that your life will get easier. But please, be patient and mindful of Allah. Think postively, not negatively.

Oh, and yes inshallah I will vote for you daily, if it can help bring you happiness.

Brother, there is a hadith along the lines:

The people most prone to trials with afflictions are the prophets and then the most pious and then the next in piety and so on. A man is tried according to the strength of his belief. If his belief is firm, his trial will be harder, and if his belief is weak, he is tried accordingly. A servant of Allah will go on being tried with afflictions until he walks on earth free of sins.

So have Sabr Al-Jameel

So today I went in for an interview and I was going in for the 2nd interview by the head chief executive. now this is where it got weird, so she asked me about my previous jobs and said how much she liked that product over that product. then she started talking about her daughter? an her divorce ...then how she didn't finish college because she was making more money doing what she did for this company ... then she talked about how her teenage daughter is a handful... I just played it cool thinking she was using some sort of psychology thing to trick me into saying something stupid. the interview ended and she seemed happy an I was escorted to the door... now I'm freaking confused? is this normal behavior for an executive? like it felt like she was going to burst into tears at one point and tell me her life problems... is this normal? was she trying to see how I react or something?

Basically- no degree, although I have tried completing one in the past and stopped because of physical and mental health issues which were overwhelming to deal with along with going to classes full time. I'm not stupid and I am quite articulate. I am 23 and have only worked for about two years retail in high school and stopped working to go to university. I worked a few months in 2010 retail after I dropped out but it was only a seasonal position, and the only reason why I have not been able to constantly work is because of mental health issues. I had also tried going back to community college during my free time since i left university in 2008/9 and I had panic attacks while in community college, which made my anxiety worse from then on. Well recently I met a good doctor and he prescribed me some meds that are stabilizing my moods and I feel the best I've felt in years, and I'm ready to work. Thing is, I don't know how to get a job now since I've spent literally years being depressed and anxious doing nothing. I don't really have anything to put on my resume, and I never finished my AA degree either. All I've done is cashiering and although I do the job well and I get promoted easily when I do these jobs because I'm a hard worker and I try to go above and beyond what they ask of me,which is the attitude I have no matter what kind of work I'm doing as long as I'm getting paid. But I hate cashiering because it's too easy and I want a job that is more interesting. Any suggestions for me on how to get a job that is NOT Retail with the type of background I have right now? I also realize I have to go to college to get certain types of jobs, I am talking about what I can do right here right now.

Recently I have overlooked for a project at work and I am unable to accept it why? I am hard working, dedicated, maintain a very professional decorum, very cordial with my colleagues and bosses, give respect to one and all. Still people who take the p***, argue with managers, gossip mongers have been selected for some very responsible positions at work. I seriously can't get my head around it why, why unprofessional people who have no work ethics being selected over me, whereas I have a track record of excellent performance and never shy away from any work my manager ask me to do? I am at my lowest point and not getting hold of my manager to ask the question why not me, why them who can't even bother? I am feeling like a complete loser, giving years to this place, building my performance, trust and this is how I get rewarded. Why my life is so shit, anything I wish for turns to dust?

So I have a nice white button up shirt, business skirt and pants, and a suit jacket. I'm applying for a software development job and I'm very short and can look young so I'm trying to look adult, yet professional. I'm also attractive so I'm trying not to look too sexy. For the career fair I'm thinking of wearing just my nice shirt and a skirt with low heels. My reasoning being it's approachable and attractive without going overboard since the career fair hosts are mostly younger male recent grads. I want to be remembered but not intimidating. For my interviews I was thinking pants, suit jacket (power suit). My reasoning being it'll be older execs and HR people (mostly women) so less sexy with the pants but more powerful with the suit jacket. What do you think?!

I am in the process of planning my own wedding and I am having a fantastic time doing so. I have always enjoyed planning things: group vacations for my friends and I, road trips, etc... I could be described as a slight control freak and I am a perfectionist. I know I would exceed, and enjoy my career, if I were to make this a possibility. How do I do it? How do I get my name out there? How much do event planners charge for their services? I have a lot of questions, and hope that people who are self employed would be able to give me some pointers on getting my business up and running. Thank You in advance for your time and help.
