How helpful is an Associates' Degree in Paralegal Studies?

I am majoring in Accounting and Paralegal Studies. If I was to work in compliance department and/or project management of a huge organization, will the Paralegal Studies Associate's Degree help me? Unfortunately, the community college I am attending has the program that is not ABA approved. It has the same courses like other community colleges offering the same Paralegal Studies program. Due to financial and time situations, I am not able to go to another school with Paralegal Studies program that is ABA approved. MORE DETAILS: I have already went to 3 different schools and (of course) some credits were not transferable from one out of state college to another. Therefore, I am re-evaluating my college goals. I have strong passion for making things better in organizations which I developed minor project management experience in different industries (longest duration was in the financial services). But I am not certain of which "correct" education path to take. I attended a university on scholarship, then left and found myself in the workforce. After a 3-year hiatus, I returned to community college. I eventually moved out of state and enrolled in a different college since last year. I am planning to get an Associate's in Accounting and also in Paralegal Studies in my current community college. @JOhn: Duh, I am still going for a BA/BS. That's the point of community college. Will someone please rate his answer down? Thanks.
