Do I have to be engineering to start off a software company?
Hello, i hold a management information systems degree which is not totally related to software development as computer science or software engineering are. But i was thinking to take some software engineering courses through night school at university. I do believe my stronger skills are "management" so i was thinking to hire professionals from india or somewhere else.Honestly, Im confused how to start off or what education should i get to accomplish my dream. I will appreciate as much feedback as possible.. thank you guys.

Not necessarily. You may want to get an MBA if you want to start your own business with software, especially if you feel you're better at management. An MBA is a Master's degree program, but it will definitely open up more job opportunities for you regardless of your current position.

Education is a waste of time. To start a company you need a product, a product idea or a large stack of cash to experiment with.
