The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army. Organization(s): 1015th QUARTERMASTER COMPANY, Fort Meade, MD. THIS POSITION REQUIRES ARMY RESERVE MEMBERSHIP About the Position: This position is for the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, 1015th Quartermaster Company, Material Equipment Handling Team, 398th Combat Support Sustainment Battalion, 165th Quartermaster Group, 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command located in Fort Meade, MD. This position is under the supervision of the Supervisory Staff Administrator. Who May Apply: Click here for more information. KEY REQUIREMENTS: U.S. Citizen I know this is EXPIRED but there are MANY MANY jobs available but all require Army membership or National guard membership, i just wanted to understand what that means and how to get a "membership" cuz sounds like a club or something. Let me add that I scored 80 on the AVSBAV without studying , I have an associate's degree in auto mechanics and a bachelor's degree in management. 5 yrs experience supervisor at service department new car leadership, 3 years experience in inventory, supply, forklift,, purchasing. "THIS POSITION REQUIRES ARMY RESERVE MEMBERSHIP" Yup. Must be a member of the army reserve. Most civilian/contractor jobs are filled by recently retired military members or inactive reservists/guardsmen.

This is a full time job with the Army National Guard. Alot of recruiters use this as a tactic to recruit people into the Guard as well. The only way to get Army Membership is to join the Army!

They have already stopped taking applications for this job. You need to be a member of that unit in the reserve to hold this civilian tech job. You may be able to apply and then join but normally you are required to already be a member of the military to apply... More

When you drive by your local National Guard or Army Reserve center there are people in civilian clothes inside typing papers, answering the phone, keeping inventory, fixing trucks and other day to day jobs.
