What were Barack Obama's qualifications for being president?
I know he only served 142 days as a US Senator-hardly the experience needed to be the chief executive. Anything else? I know in his book he described the only private sector job he had as "working for the enemy." Anything else?

He met all the criteria that are spelled out n the constitution and was therefore qualified to run.. The people of the United States seemed to have responded to his message of hope and change and therefore elected him in a landslide. He enjoyed almost 80 percent approval ratings the first few months in office.

According to the DEMOCRAT Presidential Campaign Committee, even a lifetime in the Senate is IRRELEVANT to being President. Obama is PRESENTLY in his VERY FIRST executive position.

So, what were Ronald Reagan and GW Bush's qualifications ? Reagan was Gov of California and screwed the pooch when he was there, along with being a B movie actor. Bush Gov of Texas and failed every business venture he tried. So, where were you headed on this one ? Typical Con, short term memory.

He was elected....plus he had the advantage of running against a guy who collaborated with the enemy to gain favorable treatment as a POW who also killed more US Servicemen than he did enemy combatants. A real American will trump a Benedict Arnold any day of the week.

He wasn't a senator for 142 days. I don't know where you got your information but it wasn't anywhere near reliable. He was also a state senator. Does that not count?
