What the hell should I do.?

So about 2 years ago I planned out my life. I would join the military, start out low get some experience, eventually switch up MOS to further my career, earn a degree, and depending on the situation with my girlfriend I would either leave or stay and continue my career. Present day. What have I accomplished. I've managed to score well on the ASVAB, then when I have my foot in the door I make the mistake of telling them I used an inhaler when I was younger. The entire system shuts down, (keeping in mind I sold my car and quit my jobs a long time ago) total I've gone through requesting information from the hospital where I was treated from going on 20+ years ago (which takes at least a month and half to find given the time that has passed), Ive taken TWO pulmonary tests that have both been denied due to them needing "MORE INFORMATION". My girl has left me, and I am broke living at home with the insane family I've been trying to get away from, eating me alive. Life is on hold due to an allergic reaction to cats 20 years ago. What do I do. I live in California, lots of people filling out the FAFSA. Ill give it a try. If there is anyone out there with a more direct approach to this situation. Maybe something a little less shot in the dark and hope for the best.

Fill out your FAFSA information, cross your fingers and hope it's enough for you to attend and live on campus at a state university if the military thing doesn't work out.
